Ballerina-inspired street style
Another day, another chance of endless opportunities to be great don’t you think?
I’ve finally found the time to share one of my favourite shoots to date, with Luzeavin Design of course, just to help everyone get back into the swing of things.
I consider myself a true tutu lover, even a fanatic, a 7-year old wishful ballerina cooped up in the body of an academic escaping the serious world at every given opportunity. No better way to explore the world than in tulle and sparkles if you ask me.
A while ago Nazeem patel (@lxgprada on Instagram) and I took to the streets of De Waterkant to capture Luzeavin Design in the urban jungle we find ourselves wrapped up in.
2016 was the year that saw the ballerina trend actually make an appearance (which clearly made my life!) and a popular one at that, one that seems to come and go month in and month out. Doted as the most elegant way to dress, as a classical ballerina, can be a bit over rated so dress it to your style.
The ballet-inspired fashion trend plays on the grace and whimsicality that professional ballet dancers portray, encapsulating strength amidst mystery and subtle openness.
The best thing about this trend is its versatility – from pairing it with a leather jacket, a meshed top as featured below or combining it with the choker trend and lace up heels, there are no real limitations.
Live out your wildest dreams darlings.
